New Player - TRUTH Social
This knowledge was explicitly brought into the light when Trump ran and became President of the United States. Even more evident as he was banned from Twitter, to include other well known individuals who were temporality or fully banned from social media platforms for their politcal opinions, posts and overall affiliation.
Following these events and other implicating moments, such as news outlet changing a narrative, Trump, his administration and supporters begin to call these news outlets "Fake news" and the controlling platforms as "Big Tech", which refer to Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook.
This problem drove Trump to create and soon to release a new platform called TRUTH Social.
According to Trump "TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I'm exited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech."
Both left and right leaning news sources and articles provide good information about the upcoming release of the new platform. Both providing information on the platform's purpose, it's creation and overall information on how to attain the application once released.
Even though the creators and founder are right leaning, and a big sideline mission is to retaliate against the left and especially Big Tech's "suppression", the platform appears to be a positive influence for both sides. I say that its because the platform is meant for open and free speech without censorships which should not only apply to the right but also to the left. In theory this platform should bring a huge impact on not only the American politcal spectrum but also on the rest of the world due to the emergence of a new platform that is not part of the most dominant companies known as Big Tech.
